Report widgets

This section describes widgets that relate to reports and reporting.

Dashboard Reports

You can use the Dashboard Reports widget to add custom reports that display natively in your Dashboard. Dashboard reports use a simplified version of the Lucernex Report Builder.

Before you can add a dashboard report to your Dashboard, your System Administrator must have created that report using the Manage Dashboard Reports page of the System Administrator Dashboard.

Your System Administrator can assign users permissions to create, view, edit, or delete dashboard reports, by configuring Dashboard Report Security.

Add a Dashboard Report

1. Click > > on the left side of the page to expand the menu.

   The >> is located to the left of the Map tab.

2. Expand the Dashboard Reports item in the menu.

   A list of configured dashboard reports appears.

3. Click the report you want to add.

4. Drag the widget to the Dashboard and drop it where you want it to appear on the page.

   The widget appears on the Dashboard.

Filter Dashboard Report

1. Find the dashboard report you want to filter.

2. Click Set Filter in the upper-left corner of the widget.

   The Set Filter window opens. The window lists all fields you can filter by.

3. Select the filters you want.

4. Select the option you want:

   • Apply: Apply the filter for your session. The filter is no longer applied when you navigate away from the page.

   • Apply & Save: Apply the filter and save it. The filter is applied even when you leave the page.

   • Clear Filter: Clear your filter settings.

   • Cancel: Cancel your changes.

Remove Dashboard Report Filter

1. Find the dashboard report containing the filter you want to remove.

2. Click Delete Filter in the upper-left corner of the widget.

   The page refreshes. The filter is no longer applied to the dashboard report.

Search Dashboard Report

1. Find the dashboard report you want to search.

2. Enter your search criteria in the Search field.

3. Click Search.

   The data matching your search criteria appears in the widget.

4. Click X in the Search field to clear the search criteria.

My Favorite Reports

You can use the My Favorite Reports widget to add reports you often use to your Dashboard. You can then run the report directly from the Dashboard without having to go to the Reports module.

Add Report to My Favorite Reports

1. Find the My Favorite Reports widget on your Dashboard.

2. Click Select Reports in the footer of the widget.

   The Choose Favorite Reports window opens.

3. Select the report you want to add to the widget from the Reports field.

   You can add multiple reports at once to the widget.

4. Click Submit.

   The window closes. The reports you selected appear in the widget.
